Rugby is back in New Mexico! The City of Rio Rancho Rugby Club is kicking off our Fall 2026 season on Saturday, September 19, with opportunities for players at every stage—from their first experience with rugby to athletes ready for competitive 7s.

This fall, players can participate in Rookie Rugby, T1 Touch, and Competitive 7s, giving athletes a pathway to learn the game, develop their skills, and compete.

Three Ways to Play This Fall

Rookie Rugby introduces our youngest players to rugby in a fun, active environment focused on movement, teamwork, basic skills, and learning to love the game.

T1 Touch brings the speed, passing, space, and decision-making of rugby without tackling. It’s a great way for both new and experienced players to keep developing their game.

Competitive 7s takes that development into competition, giving our more experienced athletes the opportunity to play the fast-paced Olympic version of rugby.

The Fall Rugby program gives players 8 weeks of rugby for only $25.99.

Want more rugby? Families can also register for the Full Season now, covering both the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 seasons.
